Jim Leyland Commits

Legendary Manager Jim Leyland is scheduled to appear at the 2016 PA Coaches Clinic!

After leading the Pittsburgh Pirates to three straight division titles from 1990 to 1992, Leyland claimed baseball royalty in 1997 when he led the Florida Marlins to a World Series title. In 2006, Leyland became the seventh manager in MLB history to win pennants in both the National and American Leagues when he led the Detroit Tigers to victory in the 2006 America League Championship Series. He is a three-time Manager of the Year Award winner, twice in the National League (1990 and 1992), and once in the American League (2006). He also finished runner-up in 1988 and 1991. He currently serves as a special assistant to the Tigers.
